Shinta Sato is currently General Manager of Research and Development Department at Japan Registry Services Co., Ltd. (JPRS) in Tokyo, Japan.
In his 20+ years of experience working for JPRS, he has been involved in operation, administration and planning of TLD DNS services and TLD
registry services. During the period, he worked for introducing IPv6, DNSSEC, and IP Anycast technologies to .JP DNS.
In 2005, when JPRS started to jointly operate the M-Root with WIDE Project, he joined the M-Root operation team.
He is a member of ICANN RSSAC Caucus since 2014.
